१० क. न. ।। ।। कसैले कसैलाइ
जातिपातिको अधारमा छुवाछुतको भेदभावपुर्ण व्यवहार गरेमा वा सार्वजनिक स्थलमा
उपस्थित हुन वा सार्वजनिक उपयोगका कुराहरूको प्रयोग गर्नबाट बन्चित गरेमा एक वर्ष
सम्म कैद वा तीन हजार रूपैयाँसम्म जरिवाना वा दुवै सजाय हुनसक्नेछ ।
स्पष्टिकरणः कुनै मन्दिर वा धार्मिक स्थलहरूमा परम्परादेखि चलिअएको व्यवहारलाइ
भेदभावपुर्ण व्यवहार मानिने छैन ।

10 Ka. No. II II Anyone who discriminates against
someone on the basis of caste or debars them from attending a public place or
using things of public use will be punished with imprisonment up to one year or
a fine of up to three thousand rupees or both.
Clarification:
Traditional behavior in any temple or religious place is not considered as
discriminatory behavior.
The monarchists have claimed that the law has been already written against caste discrimination by Ex. King, Mahendra. But republicans have been totally rejected and saying that it was only white lie. The provision of clarification describes itself that was not law against caste discrimination. The law accepts that caste discrimination on public place or using things of public use is considered as tradition and traditional behaviors' in the Nepali society.
